Due to the extreme heat situation, and potentially dangerous playing conditions, the Southern Hills Athletic Conference has elected to follow the OHSAA guidelines and recommendations for extreme heat.  The girls golf match scheduled for Wednesday, 9/2/26, at Hilltop Golf Course has been postponed. The boys golf match scheduled for Thursday, 9/3/26 at Friendly Meadows Golf Course has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled.  We are working on a date to reschedule the girls match.

The 2026/2027 Southern Hills Athletic Conference Boys Golf Championship began on Tuesday, August 25.  Round one of the 36-hole tournament was hosted by the Hillsboro Elks Golf Course.  50 golfers participated as all ten Southern Hills Athletic Conference schools fielded a team.  At the end of the evening, Nolan Wilkin, from Lynchburg-Clay finished as medalist with a score of 38.  Following day one of the four-day event, Lynchburg-Clay leads the team standings with a total of 160.  North Adams, West Union and Whiteoak are tied for second place, with a team score of 177.  Round two will be played at Friendly Meadows Golf Course on Thursday, September 3, 2026.  Shotgun start beginning at 4:00 p.m.

The Southern Hills Athletic Conference Boys Golf Matches are scheduled to begin on August 25, 2026.  The four-round, 36-hole championship will wrap up on September 17.  The matches will be held at Hillsboro Elks, Friendly Meadows Golf Course in Hamersville, Snow Hill Country Club in New Vienna and Buckeye Hills Golf Course in Greenfield.

The Southern Hills Athletic Conference Girls Golf Matches are slated for September 2, 2026 and September 16, 2026.  The matches will be held at Hilltop Golf Course, in Manchester and Buckeye Hills Golf Course, in Greenfield.
