LEAGUE MAKE UP GAME POLICY
THE EXPECTATION IS THAT ALL LEAGUE GAMES WILL BE PLAYED. IF THE ATHLETIC DIRECTORS CAN NOT AGREE ON A DATE, THE COMMISSIONER WILL SELECT A DATE. BOTH SUPERINTENDENTS WOULD HAVE TO AGREE BEFORE A GAME WOULD BE WAIVED. THIS CAN NOT BE DONE IF THE LEAGUE STANDINGS WILL BE AFFECTED.
CROSS COUNTRY PARTICIPATION POLICY
IT IS THE INDIVIDUAL SCHOOL'S RESPONSIBILTY TO VERIFY THAT THE OHSAA 10 DAY PRACTICE RULE HAS BEEN MET. COACHES ARE ENCOURAGED TO KEEP DOCUMENTATION AND BY REGISTERING AN ATHLETE FOR THE LEAGUE MEET, THEY ARE SAYING THE REQUIREMENT HAS BEEN MET.
JUNIOR HIGH PARTICIPATION POLICIES
WE ARE FOLLOWING OHSAA RULES
EACH PLAYER HAS 3 SETS A DAY IN VOLLEYBALL
EACH PLAYER HAS 6 QUARTERS A DAY IN BASKETBALL
IF A TEAM HAS SUFFICENT NUMBERS, THIS SHOULD NOT BE USED
ALL SCHOOLS WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE JUNIOR HIGH TOURNAMENTS
AWARDS PRESENTATIONS
GOLF AWARDS ARE PRESENTED AT THE LAST LEAGUE MATCH.
JUNIOR HIGH AWARDS ARE PRESENTED AT THE LEAGUE TOURNAMENTS.
VOLLEYBALL, SOCCER, CROSS COUNTRY, BASKETBALL, BASEBALL, SOFTBALL, AND TRACK AWARDS ARE PRESENTED AT LEAGUE AWARDS CEREMONIES.
TIES
IF THERE IS A TIE FOR 1ST PLACE IN SPORTS WITH DIVISION I AND II
OR A TIE FOR 1ST OR 2ND PLACE IN SPORTS WITHOUT DIVISIONS
THE TIE BREAKER WILL BE THE HEAD-TO-HEAD CONTEST
IF THE TEAMS SPLIT THE HEAD-TO-HEAD CONTESTS IT WILL RESULT IN A TIE.
